Page 1: Mining companies have been warned that their profits are facing a multi-billion-dollar
hit from the introduction of a resource rent tax. Evidence from the bushfires royal commission
has found there was a deep crisis of leadership during the most desperate hours in Victoria's
history. Teachers unions in NSW have warned casual and retired teachers they will enter
a "hostile environment" if they agree to administer national literacy and numeracy tests
in schools next month.
