NSW: National Easter road toll finishes on 21 = 2

The Australian Automobile Association (AAA) called on governments to increase investment
in roads to make them safer.

"The roads themselves are more important in road safety than most people think. We
can avoid crashes by redesigning roads to make them safer," the peak motoring body said
in a statement.

"Often it is the road itself that either causes the crash or turns what could have
been a minor crash into a killer."
